1989 Accolade (UK)
by Alan Jardine & Chris Lowe

A mildly interesting motorcycle racing game. It would be a lot more enjoyable if the motorcycle was easier to control, and if the bike itself could curve when making a turn.
The qualifying stage is probably more enjoyable than the racing itself, which to me became too confusing, maybe because I don't have enough practice. The road movement is very fluid and realistic, that's probably the best feature on the whole game, but I would like to be able to control the bike without feeling I'm totally pissed, pardon my french. In the late 80's I would have enjoyed this game a lot more, today seems a bit pointless with so much better realistic game being released.
My rating reflects on what I would feel if I was still in 1989 playing it: A mildly interesting motorcycle racing game.
