Reviews for Super Digger + Chase (#14687)

Two arcade clones, one of Space Panic, a game I don't like, and Head-On, a game I do like, yet Super Digger is the better game of the two. Who on earth could have forseen this? Space Digger is a decent game with multiple levels and speeds while Chase is a standard but difficult game with no other alternate modes or skill levels and a bastard of an opponent. Oh and if you're curious Andrew Blackburn, the man responsible for this compilation, has no further credits attached to him. And in terms of price, it varies depending on source. Spectrum Computing lists the price at £5.95 while the SPOT/SPEX based on the original World of Spectrum lists is at £4.95, so in essence you're getting roughly £2.50 or 3 quid per game, which for 1984 I think is about right, Space Digger certainly is worth 3 quid hell I could have paid a fiver for it perhaps and gotten my money's worth.
