This game was considered a MIA during the commercial times of the spectrum. It is great that is preserved.

Technically is not good, but the idea is, a pity that it had been rediscovered before, I guess we could have had some good game based on this by 1988

This is the original version of Jump from 1984, it was written one year earlier by the same author, one Jose Manuel Gutierrez Baranano. This too is inspired by Crazy Climber on arcade and I have to say, this is the better game as the controls are much more simplistic and thus I can easily get into it and enjoy it better. I do feel the author was trying in some degree to replicate the controls of the arcade game on Jump and it just didn't sit well with me, whereas this game had much more simplified controls and thus made the game more enjoyable. What shocked me was its original rating on the original World of Spectrum, 3.71 in 7 votes, that is mean. Ok it's not a particularly well written game, it's slow and there is some jerky scrolling to deal with, but the gameplay is fine, I don't mind it, it's pretty good, so no I disagree with the low rating entirely and if I was able to vote I'd happily give it a 7. Very enjoyable, I'm off to play some more of it now.
