this is a mighty difficult and yet mighty addictive spanish basketball game, one on one style, with nice graphics and presentation, replay of the most spectacular actions and other nice things.

Excellent Spanish basketball game !!! RIP Fernando Martín Espina -first Spanish player to ever play in the NBA- who died in a tragic car accident in 1990 -I believe- and who was one of the best Spanish basketball players who ever lived. The game is nice, but the memory of Martin is too large to mention in these few lines. Too sad an ending for one of the best Spanish basketball players in history. Playing Fernando Martín Basket Master is fun but, as a Spaniard myself, it always makes me sad to think of Martin tragic fate. :(

This is a basketball simulation where you control just one player instead of a whole team. Graphics look pleasingly cartoony-ish and an unusual "replay" feature is displayed in slow motion on full screen whenever the ball goes through the basket.

After years of reading instructions and several actual attempts, I still can't figure out how to play this game. I'm sure there is a good game hidden somewhere - at least there seems to be when watching the demo mode - but I haven't found it yet.

One of the best basketball games for the Spectrum featuring basket legend Fernando Martín, the first spanish player to join the NBA, playing at Portland Trail Blazers.

This game is what One on One should have been.

You can play vs computer or in 2-players mode (this latter one is a funny option). The game has a great gameplay and amazing graphics. An spectacular feature is when you make a dunk, showing a cool TV replay of it.

A true addictive sports game.

Too difficult for my likes, but I enjoyed it. One of the best 1 on 1 basket games.

Some details such as the replay of scores shows the aim of originality of the game.

Good in those times, you can still enjoy it a little bit

This spanish version of one-on-one basketball, with it's cartoonish characters can be quite confusing when ou start playing, but once you get the hang of it, it turns out to be very enjoyable and addictive. The replay of the best bits of the match is obviously a nice and fun addition, but should be an option with turn on/off button only. I still prefer the classic Imagine's Basketball, but this is also great, even better to some extent, and without bugs.

This is one game I could have sworn I reviewed ages ago but it appears I've not covered this one at all, hmm is this site removing my reviews or is my memory playing tricks with me? I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in between these points. Anyway let's get round to this one because I bought this many years ago and never worked it out, and years later I still kind of don't. It's really nicely presented and the replay is a wonderful touch, but I keep getting the ball stolen from me at random and yet when I try to do the same it's a foul. And speaking of fouls, I can never finish a game without there being too many fouls, even when my opponent commited too many fouls. That means I win even though I'm down 5-23 right? Too frustrating for me to properly enjoy, both back then and now, but the technical brilliance stand out nevertheless.
