Well flipping heck I never expected to see this on the Spectrum. Fort Boyard is a long running French adventure game show which still runs today in fact, and there have been many version of it around the world including here in Britain, two versions in fact. It was on Channel 5 initially with Leslie Grantham, Dirty Den from Eastenders as Boyard and page 3 model Melinda Messenger hosting, and it was brilliant in the first couple of series' and then it all got a bit samey and we were fed up with it in the end. Then Challenge TV had a go and boy oh boy was it shit from start to finish. Christopher Ellison from The Bill took over as Boyard and completely missed the point of how an evil, egotistical swine should be portrayed and hosting was the then-unknown and still-unknown Jodie Penfold who didn't appear to do much before or after for that matter, gee I wonder why. And noticed I haven't talked about the game, why is this? Because it's dreadful. The premise is kind of the same from the show as you need keys, but the challenges are gone and instead it's just a boring adventure maze game with no colour, no enjoyment and no soul. You know what, I'm hardly surprised, I expected this to be poor and well it is.
