And so here we are, at long last, the seventh and final game of the Benny Bunny series and for this, after the demise of Sinclair Programs magazine, we turn to their sister magazine Sinclair User for Manic Mechanic, published in November 1985, so that's seven games in one year, now that's commitment. This is Burger Time but with spanners. You have to drop all the spanners on the floor to complete a level and you also have what's called an angry customer coming to get you, you have to drop a spanner on him to replenish your energy. This is very important because your energy drops far too quickly otherwise. Well it's not a particularly great game but it is better than Burrows, Gold Rush and Firefighter at least. And that's all folks from Benny Bunny for reals. Of the seven games, two are quite good, two are playable but not fun and three are crap. In truth I think the author should have stopped at Gold Rush and it effectively was a series that overstayed its welcome. Best game? Easily the first one Litterbugs, so much so that I was actually tempted to go back and change it to a 4 but the faults within the game do not justify such a change. Worst game? Gold Rush, it's Bagman done really badly. Gilligan's Gold cloned it poorly and Gold Rush clones it even worse. But anyway, thank goodness it's over. I need a cigarette after that and I don't even smoke.
