I feared the worst when this showed up and I had to play it, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with this because it's actually pretty good. It's pretty much a mini version of Pac-Man where you control a man to eat all the dots whilst avoiding the arachnid. I actually thought it would be just one screen and that's your lot, but no there are multiple levels which is nice. There are drawbacks of course, one the keys are somewhat unresponsive at times and second the arachnid is easily manipulated so if it's a challenge you're looking for then this won't cut it sadly. But it's still nice for what it is and having played a bulk of bad type-in games lately it's nice to be able to play a good one for a change and I think that reflects on my score for it. I was torn between a 3 or a 4 and eventually I went 4, possibly in comparison to the other type-ins I've played recently in that this is like 50 times better than say Kung-Fu and Saucer. Also, I set the bar low, like really low, and it raised the bar further than even I could have anticipated, and I think that deserves merit. So well done Mutant Arachnid for surprising me in a jolly good way.
