Reviews for Ninja (#3433)

A neat if somewhat too easy beat-and-collect-em-up where you as the eponymous character have to find eight idols scattered around an area teeming with baddies.

The original release had a bug that prevented the player from accessing the highest room, which always hosts one of the idols. Luckily Einar Saukas fixed it and now the game can be completed. Not that it requires too much effort, however, since your enemies are less dangerous than an arthritic squirrel.

A beat'em up with a good amount of moves, nice and colourful and decorative backgrounds on the upper side of the screen which allows the sprites to avoid the colour clash. You can even pick up and use shurikens, swords and stuff. You move through a bidirectional environment closed in a loop. It's very easy, in a pleasant way, but after I've defeated the opponents in every screen, they were left empty and I didn't know what else to do nor I've found some exit or some passage. So, I'm not sure about this game. The ninja walks in a silly way, though.
?/5 probably 3/5

I was enjoying this game until it crashed. This game is riddled with bugs preventing you from finishing the game which is a shame because I was rather liking this one.

Poorly written game loaded with bugs.
