Powerplay - The Game of the Gods, starring Hercules, Cyclops, Minotaur and Satyr. Makes you think it's an adventure game, from the title alone you'd think it's an ice hockey game, but nope, Powerplay is actually a quiz game. That got me looking forward to this as I do like a good quiz game, and note I said "good" quiz game, because this isn't. For starters it's yet another game played with multiple players and there's only me present for this review. Two to four players can play I went with four because I'm stupid and that means I have to control four players at once. Second, the game is played by answering questions based on the directional button you press and the keys are not laid out properly for it. So example,

What does the username YOR mean? Up is You Old Rat, left is YOR is a wanker, right is A short form of Yorick and down is Three letters he typed at random. You then need to press either Q W E or A for your answer, which is not laid out at all and was very annoying, so best to play this with the cursor keys if possible. Oh and by the way the answer is Right, my real name is Yorick and YOR is short and was inspired by XOR a puzzle game I had years ago and always liked so there.

Anyway I started again with the Kempston controls mapped to the cursor keys and the game was moving by itself and was impossible to play as a result. Then I mapped the Interface 1 controls to the cursor keys and voila, third time lucky I'm in and well it's naff. You answer questions to move pieces around the board like a board or chess and four questions in we get a repeat question, the capital city of Finland, I think that would be why it's on the screenshot. This whole game just gets boring very quickly and the lack of sound only adds to it. It took me longer to set up the game than it did to actually play it, story of my life.
