Excellent movility!! Great atmosphere!! Cool music !! Superb game!!

There are no words to describe such a masterpiece ... mysterious , imaginative , colorful , artistic , delightful ... there are too many good qualities to be put into words .

The game-path is quite fast and the movements are silk-smooth .

Robin of the Wood is an underrated jewel that deserves much more praise than it actually gets .

The forest seems bewithched and is deep and menacing with spectres materialising here and there ... you can GET LOST in this game , literaly .

Robin of the Wood is one of my favorite games and I cry because of its distribution denied status . :(

Anyway , you can enjoy the incredible tune right here -->

This is not quite a 5 for me. Finding your way around the forest is almost impossible making it very difficult to make any progress. It's still a very good game, it's just that you may feel you're running around aimlessly a lot of the time.

Colourful, well drawn e superfast, Robin Of The Wood is a fine arcade/adventure lost in the natural maze of Sherwood forest, with lots of objects and various characters.

Robin of the Wood is a beautiful game, featuring great backgrounds, nicely designed characters, well animated action, a nice start menu tune and a good plot.
The use of the legendary Robin was surely a bonus, specially because in those days the classics were still fashionable.
The end result is a captivating, imaginable, very playable, pretty game.
Still I can't get around on how many similar games were made before. Some good, some bad. Robin of the Wood is not original in any particular way, but enhanced old ideas, and is surely among the best of it's genre, I only wish it was different from all the cartoony Sabre Wulf's made before.

4,5 points

Great adventure by Odin that takes place in a labyrinthine forest of Sherwood. It's a magic place where you come across witches, a magic tree and Ent, the ancient hermit that will help you to get a sword, your trusty bow and three charmed arrows in exchange for bags of gold you'll have to steal from the evil Bishop of Peterborough, heavily guarded.

With all these objects you will be able to join the archery contest organized by the Sheriff of Nottingham, whose award is the legendary Silver Arrow.

Very good graphics with a smooth and realistic movement. Great effect when Robin fights the guards. Very nice music intro (and an epic intro voice!) but the forest (and the castle) is so big that becomes monotone, a very long map where you can easily get lost.

This is a beautifully written game with colourful graphics and lovely music. I'm better off playing these type of games now with a map otherwise I get lost and lose interest, but having said that this rightfully gets the credit it deserves. I easily prefer this to Odin's Yesod games.
