Reviews for Spaghetti Western Simulator (#4694)

This was written by the same fella that done the horrible Hercules: Slayers of the Damned game so I wasn't feeling very high on this one at all and those fears were realised pretty much instantly. This was supposed to simulator Western films?

After discovering this game is an old 1987 Your Sinclair magazine I was eager to play it. Just the name by itself was enough to get me excited. Well, I must say I was rather disappointed. The game plays like a side scrolling shoot 'em up, were you play a cowboy shooting any bad gun carrying men (or women) that sneak in or out of a house. There are also the innocent by standers, which obviously you should spare. There are many games like this one, but none mixes so well the target shooting genre with the side scrolling shoot 'em up. I guess it's the only redeeming quality it has since it's a bit on the boring side.
