Reviews for Chip's Challenge (#937)

Considering this was released in 1990 by a major software house, the graphics are hideous. It's a shame really because there's a half decent game underneath. The idea is to run around a maze collecting all the computer chips and get to the exit before the time runs out. Some of the chips are hidden behind doors and you'll need the right colour key to unlock it. Red shields protect you from fire and blue ones from water etc. It's not bad but it's so ugly to look at it might well put you off.

This reminds me of Box Reloaded a lot !!

It is , basically , the same game with lesser options and a poorer presentation ... all in all , a decent game .

Well, here is a great chance to use the idiom 'Don't judge a book by its cover'.
Chip's Challenge is an ugly game to look at, but it's lots of fun to play.
Try it for yourself.

Nice enough gameplay that will keep you going for quite a bit but you need plenty of patience with this, and I have none. But it is as the name says, a challenge, and if you love a good challenge I suggest you try this out.

It does require patience as well as brainpower but at least I can get into this and play it. It's good fun actually.
