Chuckman is a fast furious game not suitable for anyone with short fuse nerves, like myself :D.
Your job is to deactivate bombs scattered around a large maze, to do so you must find a toolkit first so you can complete your quest. Several problems will occur to stop you from doing so (it wouldn't be a game otherwise!). For instance you will need faster roller skates to escape the giant pairs of boots or sand to cover up holes in the ground. So it mixes a bit of strategy together with fast reflexes.

A great little game from '83 that only falls short for only allowing one life each play, something quite frustrating in the beginning when you don't know exactly what to do and keep dying. The giant letters in the end of each play really makes me wanna reset the game. A cute but annoying idea.

It resembles a lot the old classic 'Maziacs' and the author says the game is inspired in a popular arcade game, so it must be it.

a maze-game graphically clearly inspired by don priestley's maziacs.
although the still image looks good, the animation is slow and not fluid at all.
considering the gameplay, the programmer seems to have managed to create a different and original game, not a maziacs clone, but i've found it overall unappealing and irritating.
you have only one life, and it's quite easy to die: and after you die giant capital letters appears one by one scrolling from right to left with some unnecessary comment,
letters that made me wonder if i become astigmatic, or if i was wearing the wrong pair of glasses.
and it takes time before this process ends.
i gave up.

A rather poor variation over Maziacs !

Not very recommended .

A brilliant game, even if it steals a bit from Maziaks it still manages to become something of its own. Me and my sister used to play it over and over again, very addictive one more go feeling to it.

It's so exciting when you find a roller skate as well, the main thing that can kill the baddie boots.
