Re: Nirvana/Bifröst-esque static graphics in t'olden days

@Alone Coder, when listing titles please could I ask you to link to the game page on SC (or an external page if not in ZXDB). It makes our lives just so much easier, and avoids any issues with us unintentionally picking the wrong title. Thanks very much What he linked to aren't games but scene demo...

Re: C64 Standard Bitmap Mode (320 x 200)

Out of curiosity, here's how the Spectrum palette would look like with 16 truly distinct colors: https://i.ibb.co/QfhZwdK/palettes2.png These look great indeed. I like how you (probably) spent a minute to move the letters of the word "Spectrum" back to their proper positions. Offtopic fun fact: The...

Re: ZX Spectrum and Viruses

Had to LOL at "harius attempt". I mean, Roger is almost legendary, but harrius ... it just reminded me of something - you know there's this German Sinclair/Speccy forum ? It's not very interesting for me so I never even bothered to make an account, but I occasionally read a couple of posts. I think ...

Re: Which games didn't make the YS Top 100 because they came out too late?

If you just want to ask, 'if there were any good games released commercially since 1991?', then the answer is, 'yes, plenty - in countries all over the world'. Heh, this reminds me of an article I once read, I think it was called "The 500 best music albums of all time" or so, and about 490 of them ...

Re: Happy Place...

Nice happy place, though it looks a bit rough with all the stuff on the floor and the dirty carpet. It's the attic, eh? Hope the Attic Bug won't get you!

By the way, what is the weird brownish thing the rubberkey Speccy is wrapped in? Won't this make it overheat even faster?

Re: Chit Chat forum?

Oops ... mea culpa!
Though I actually never ever typed out your first name before - a search on WOS for "Allesandro" shows 22 instances (!) but none by me, so this is my first time. Sorry! Perhaps you prefer Al Grussone? ;)

This thread is as chit chat as it gets ...

Re: ZX-Blue Plaques?

Some nice posts there, Rorthron. I think it was that particular b/w photo of Just Micro in Sheffield someone posted on WoS many years ago that actually made us look up the places nowadays. In that specific case, the front of the building had changed quite a bit over the years, but thanks to a few de...

Re: Spectrum memes

Welcome Van_Dammesque, I remember that name from WOS!

Yeah, that sinking feeling when you didn't make the first part of Army Moves, eh ...

Wanna introduce yourself to the crowd? You can do it in this thread.
