Re: Music files in SC and other sites. Permission affair.
You put me in the wrong position because the manuals of several authors (like Clive Townsend) contain copyrighted material in the manual that you don't have the permission to distribute. Teknamic is a trademark of my company, not a hobby. These productions are costly, and I have a trustworthy relati...

Re: Music files in SC and other sites. Permission affair.
I'm also a bit surprised that I see a lot of scanned materials, like complete manuals or inlays from Teknamic physical releases, without asking for permission from me (and the game authors) or even letting me know. I'm not sure what to think about it.

Re: Game of the day...
I fixed a bug, but I don't remember which one. If you want real fun, try Varina, made in ZX BASIC in 2018 and released in the Espectrotape. The game is based on this same old type-in. You need to get up to the edge on the other side, not before picking a fish... I think you'll remember the demo vers...

Re: Jam!
Thank you, Davey!
Clive didn't invent the original game, he made a mobile version, and now the Speccy version.
His mobile version was released in 2003 for the Nokia mobile phones.

Teknamic Software owners and missing game
Hi, Teknamik Software owners are Filipe Veiga (Portugal) and Marcus Garrett (Brazil). https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.php?cat=999&label_id=19722 Carga de Profundidade ( https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/36987/ZX-Spectrum/Carga_de_Profundidade ) was also released by Teknamic Software he...

Re: Publishers of recent Spectrum software on physical media
Hi Grussu, Filipe here ;) Bitnamic and Teknamic are from the same people, only one works in Brazil (Marcus Garrett) and the other in Portugal (me). We publish new games and re-release old brazilian/portuguese games with tweaks and updates, with the colaboration of many people from Portugal & Bra...

Re: Carga de profundidade
Nice to read about the honorable mention and the translation! (I told him in this forum he would like the game...) :D This mini-game was made for a portuguese/brazilian magazine so I used the portuguese name "Carga de Profundidade". It was inspired by two arcade classics from 1977: “Depthc...

Re: ZX Spectrum Games on itch.io
SteveSmith, opinions are fair at a certain point. But assuming people who charge some pennys for a game they worked on just to get rich from "retro", that is a bit exaggerated, imho. I don't voice that kind of opinion regarding people I don't know. When I don't agree on how they sell or di...

Re: ZX Spectrum Games on itch.io
Hi Stuart, Depthcharge will be FREE and with source code available. It's not yet available because the magazine is not printed yet. It will available in itchio (WITH source code included) as soon the first owners receive their magazines. Nevertheless I do not feel obligated to distribute whatever wh...

"KEN SENT ME" - I still remember these magic words
not sure if they are present in this remake, I need some time to play it - so many new games coming from the competition, so little time

Re: Aliens: Neoplasma
An official boardroom for a retro competition event is certainly not the same as a Spectrum Computing, or a WoS for that matter.
Really?
Do you need to sign up to SC, every time when you downloaded something?
Secondly, I don't like to waste my time arguing just for sake of it..

Re: Aliens: Neoplasma
Nobody is hostiled, just curious... If the game is not commercial, I really do not understand why I have to register somewhere else to download a free game? Did Sanchez forbid, posting download links to other Spectrum sites? It's not "somewhere else", it's the official forum for zx-dev-re...

Re: Aliens: Neoplasma
Geezz Andre.. some people are so nervous here. It's not like Planeta Sinclair is some kind of obscure website. It is another community effort from Portugal. It's kinda sad to see some unfair observations here...
