Took the mechanism out and when the play was pressed the operating arm was not fully travelling to engage the transfer gear with the drive. Did not fancy trying to do the modification as been over 30 years since last played about with a soldering iron.

Yes it is a Hitachi flatscreen lcd TV. Just have option of Scart and Scart-S.
