Re: How to create a SNA or Z80 file to use with OTLA/F7ZX?
Update: turns out all you have to do is make sure you save the snapshot as a .sna file. Overthinking strikes again!

How to create a SNA or Z80 file to use with OTLA/F7ZX?
Hey all - Ive been messing around a lot lately with OTLA and F7ZX and its been a lot of fun! I've discovered that SNA and Z80 files work especially well with these programs. I've heard tell that these files can be created through an emualtor, but I'm having a devil of a time figuring out how - Googl...

Re: Can't get Invaders to load through Play ZX
Just gave it a pass through F7ZX, and that worked! Must be a bug in the Play ZX app. Thanks so much!

Can't get Invaders to load through Play ZX
Hey all - I recently built myself a Harlequin 128k and have been having an absolute blast exploring the hundreds of software titles the likes of which this American has never seen. But one game I can't get to load, and is very frustrating because I've heard its a terrific Space Invaders clone, is Ar...

Re: ZX faceplate issues
Contact glue did the job! There's some tiny parts along the edge that need a little sprucing up due to the glue eeking out just so, but that shouldn't be a problem, and it looks great otherwise. Boy howdy though, that lip by the top row of keys is tricky.

Re: ZX faceplate issues
All I can suggest is a thin layer of contact glue along the top lip and hold it down for an hour with some masking tape. Don't use super glue as it will react with the plastic and is impossible to remove if leaks onto the outside. Thanks for mentioning this, because I did have half a mind to try su...

Re: ZX faceplate issues
Its a brand new case from ZX Renew. I cant get away from work to take a picture of it at the moment, but basically the full top along the uppermost row of keys isn't staying put. The bottom part is fine, though.

Re: Introduce yourself!
Greetings from New York state! (Buffalo, to be exact, about a 7 hour drive from NYC) I just successfully put together a Harlequin 128k kit, and I've been having a blast playing all sorts of games by using the Play ZX app and finding all sorts of great new games. Still playing everything on the keys ...

Re: ZX faceplate issues
Yes, I did indeed follow those steps. I even watched a couple videos of assembly on YouTube to make sure everything was laid down exactly as it should be. The faceplate still pops up a bit on the top edges.

ZX faceplate issues
Hey all, newbie Spectrum owner here! I just built myself a Harlequin 128k and got a full, brand new rubber key case from ZX Renew to put it in. However, I'm having a little trouble getting the faceplate to fully stick down on the case. The double-sided tape it came with isn't quite sticky enough, th...
