Downsizing
Due to stuff, I'm looking at moving to a much smaller home in Brazil. Would it be worth putting my collection in my boxes to sell there or just ebay the lot before I go?
What's got me questioning this is that I bought an old Nintendo GBA on ebay for £60 and they sell in Brazil for over £200

Re: First tape/games you got with your ZX Spectrum
I know I got Horizons but my mum wouldn't buy a tape recorder because she wanted me to learn how to program, not waste my time playing games.
Took over 2 weeks of begging to get a tape recorder as I was crying about spending all that time typing and losing it all when the computer was turned off!

Re: C5 cautionary tale
I think the main complaint being that a truck driver wouldn't see you in a C5, so a good chance of you being smeared into the tarmac. You'd not be able to use them on the pavement either. So the type of neighbourhood where you could pop down the shops would be rare? It's all 20 and 30mph around her...

Re: C5 cautionary tale
The single, biggest, mistake with the C5 was having it's launch in the middle of Winter :( I had one a few years ago and it was a great machine to tinker with and pop in to town on. Yes, it had issues like the brakes being completely inadequate but, I wish I had been able to keep it. I would definit...

Re: Introducing retro gaming to my lad
I've managed a tested&working GBA SP and 8 games (including Super Mario) for £80,
They're being sent to Brazil where any GameBoy model is nearly £300 alone
I'm tempted to send over 1 a month with that mark up

Re: Introducing retro gaming to my lad
I saw the ridiculously cheap Ali items and I am tempted buuuut if if doesn't have Mario then it'll be bottom of the toy cupboard :? The GB, GBC & GBA all seem to go for £50 with the Mario platformers going for around £15  All the Ali ones advertise 100's of games but I've seen no list so, ...

My wife and I were thinking of getting him a GameBoy as he is fanatical about Mario
A look on ebay shows there's a colour variant for around £15
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305290567092
with "proper" GameBoys and Advances up to £50
Does anyone here have a recommendation?

Re: Unnecessary inclusions in games
Knight Lore (and a whole load of other games!) - the time limit. There's no need for it. After a while it becomes apparent that it'll be impossible to finish before the time ends, so what's the point of playing on? This spoiled the game for me. As much as the graphics amazed me I only played it for...
