Re: Psychedelia in "line mode"?
The text column continues below the screenshot, it should read Load Psychedelia with LOAD "" CODE The "line mode" refers to one of the features of the program itself (press the L key to toggle Line Mode on and off). It's seems to crash on +2A (at least in my emulator) though, ev...

Re: Jetpac to Microdrive
Interesting, would an eeprom fit in the pcb without modification, if so what eeprom to do use? I'd have to defer to the hardware folks about a suitable replacement, but from memory the ROM in the IF1 doesn't have a socket so would need some super fine soldering skills to remove and replace - might ...

Have a look at Ian Collier's modified Interface 1 ROM - works well under emulation with SpectaculatorRedgatemodels wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:05 am Adding in a few extra commands would be good too, the *MOVE and *CAT from the intro cartridge plus a RENAME option is a good start.

Re: Jetpac to Microdrive
The IF1 system variable IOBORD 23750 0x5CC6 (Border colour during I/O) gives an indication when input or output is occurring Works well for both serial and network I/O but, curiously, only works for microdrive output - not input For the fun of it, the variable can be manipulated to be "audible&...

Re: LERM Conversion Utility 5F problem
Yeah CU5F does work with a stock 48K model. Had some trouble getting the TZX to load un-accelerated though, loosing the pilot tone on the third turbo block https://youtu.be/EyvkwhEgTrU Worked around this by stopping the tape, then playing back the turbo blocks https://youtu.be/wGFUNE6ezAg Tested on ...

Re: LERM Conversion Utility 5F problem
Trying it again with CU3, setting it with "Stop at end of tape" cleared doesn't seem to make any difference? weird as it sounds! Looking at the .TZX it actually stops loading just at the end of the second code block (794 byes) before the Turbo starts (marked with an X) I tried adding a 1 ...

Oh, that's interesting - I've got slightly different settings for the cassette recorder: https://i.postimg.cc/k2PJ4Tj1/Playback-Options.png Stop at end of tape is unset?! Re: LERM Conversion Utility 5F problem
In the past, I'd found the LERM utilities much much harder to load than the actual games I wanted to "backup" All the CU<version> F utilities are designed specifically for working with the F irebird Bleepload scheme With the CU5F TZX this will load with Spectaculator as long fast loading i...

Having been reminded of it today when I thought it was the Guess the Screen$ game, I decided to fire up Chronos but this time not just listen to the music. I never much rated it as a kid but I thought I'd give it a go and, you know what?, it's still GASH! Ugh! It's about the most dull shoot 'em up ...

I've really enjoyed playing this, quite the challenge and well presented - worth the wait I was about to ask if level 5 (ah-hum) could be completed without losing a life, but with some patience - and the timer running low - it can be done One other thing, the game can be paused during play by pressi...

Note from admin. The authors have requested that you download the latest copy from here . Thanks! There was a bug that made the game freeze in level 42. I reported it to Colin that immediately released a fix. On the Menu Screen press V to see the version: https://i.postimg.cc/2LWGcRsc/DrAcula.png

The pics show that you cared about it. But why are you getting rid of it? Yeah, postage may be a kic...
