The Hobbit for me too. Having been a big fan of text adventures before the Spectrum, it was incredible to see the leaps which this game made. It was so incredible to play this at the time it came out compared to what had come before.

Bit tough again. There is no denying the technical achievement of Fairlight but it was a game which I never really got into and it so it would feel wrong voting for it. There are a few games on the list which I know I have sunk a considerable amount of time into over the years, including one of them...

Since I had to pick between Elite and Everyone's a Wally last time round, then I feel I have to go with Elite this time.
And hey, it even came with a wonderful, fun, bonus game of Lenslok which was sometimes so good you never even got so far as playing Elite. Or something like that.

Toss up between Elite and Everyone's A Wally for me. At the end of the day, it came down to the first one being ruined by Lenslok and never knowing if you would be able to play it after loading.

This has probably been the toughest choice yet, there a number of good choices for me but no real stand out titles. I am looking for something which lifts a title above the others and although there are some excellent later titles I find myself keep being drawn back to Deathchase. I guess I am choos...

Had to be Chaos.
There were others, Cobra, Carrier Command and Chuckie Egg particularly, but when it comes down to it, none of these are Chaos. Unfortunately that is a criticism which can be used against far too many games.

This has been a far tougher choice than I expected. It is a strange list as there are several games on there which I know would be the choice of people I know or have known but nothing which jumps out to me immediately. I am trying to work out which one of these I have played on the speccy most over...

I went for Atic Atac. It was a toss-up between that or Ant Attack. As much of an accomplishment as Ant Attack was, Atic Atac was the more playable game of the two. It was close though.

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hi I have lurked in many places over the past couple of decades and am looking forward to lurking here in the future. I may chip in with the odd thing now and again. Like others have said, it is good seeing familiar names popping up here and nice bit of positivity attached to the spectrum scene. Tha...
