Re: Disk drives

I suppose it wouldn't be too bad to have multiload. The problem is I'm imagining that the game will involve going back and forth between different sections, which would require a lot of rewinding to get back to earlier bits. With turboloading in emulators it's not so much of a problem, but it could...

Re: Disk drives

Is TRD compatible with divide which is quite popular? I think so.. Multiload is quite appealing.. I don't see any problem in having the player load small amounts of data from the cassette many times? Small blocks would not take long to load and all it needs is just pressing a key or the Play button ...

Re: ZXBaremulator v3.0

Just a thought. You may want to contact manuferhi from the zxuno forums to see if he's interested in making an alternative kit. I think he could adapt his zxgo+ project without much work.

Re: The "Maze" genre

Maritrini is a sort of Gauntlet. That's why the game was catalogued in the same way? Many games have some Action element, that's why games with some interesting maze concept may be more visible if left as Maze. At least if you don't plan to assign several genres per game, you should consider which g...

Hi ZX81
Together with which files should I use this kernel? I can't get it to work. It only produces a black screen on my monitor.
This happened to me with one TV. Try this on your config.txt
# uncomment if hdmi display is not detected and composite is being output
hdmi_force_hotplug=1

Re: The "Maze" genre

Hmmm not convinced. I think it should look and/or feel like a maze, this is just running around. I this should be in the same category as Joe Blade, which IMO arguably should be changed from Arcade: Adventure to Arcade: Action (!) Action seems just a secondary filler to make gameplay less dull. You...
