Re: JSSpeccy on-line emulator ready for testing

Jari K. the author of Mucho has got also implemented JSSpeccy on his site if that's of help : http://sol.gfxile.net/speccy/ May I ask why you want an opensource emulator? Qaop can be used embedded on your site, the author is an old trustworthy spec-chum and dilligent to help if you contact him askin...

Re: JSSpeccy on-line emulator ready for testing

I have never talked to him about releasing the source code though I can understand his reasons (some emulators using his work without giving credit, javascript can be used to make app games..). He may get to release it some day as his old java applet emulator is GPL licensed.

Re: JSSpeccy on-line emulator ready for testing

Nice move! I would have preferred Qaop/JS which is faster and actively developed. I think, the author Jan B. who is very approachable was looking to support Pentagon. I think JSSpeccy is not maintained anymore, a good point though is that it's opensource. This is unusable on my Ipad2 unlike Qaop whi...

Re: Ways you can help with the development of Spectrum Computing Website

^^^ Hi Peter. I've seen the author answered a question on the help page last year. Also there is a java port from last year. I don't think the program is difficult to maintain for a PHP coder. You have a good point about simplicity though this kind of software is useful even if only to show a button...

Re: Ways you can help with the development of Spectrum Computing Website

Hi @hikoki We wont be importing from the new WoS. We will only be using ZXDB. I'm sure @Einar Saukas will be more that happy to add new hardware or anything else that is missing to ZXDB. You just need to contact him and provide the information for him to add. If you fancy being responsible for main...

^^^
Sounds good.. you mean an interface to make Sinclair macines manage up to 80K? I assume games which are based on that limit would work on Amstrad machines too

Re: Extruder

It's great to see videos made with phone or tablet. They prove that new games are not just for emulators but also for the real thing. I think Alessandro Grussu made one really nice for his game Sophia.

Re: Best game of ZX-Dev Conversions

For now these ones kept me playing: Parachute (despite the military parade), Saving Kong (despite the beauty and the beast theme), Left Behind (despite its breaking bones puzzles), Baby Monkey Alba (despite its phantom pixel syndrome). I have to play the rest of the lot more.

Re: Pentagon and Fuse

the answer may be on this thread: https://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/discussion/comment/923291/#Comment_923291 I'm also interested in knowing how to make Fuse load eastern machines. They mention something about resetting Fuse's config file and also loading models from .szx where are those illega...
