Re: Guess the screen$

That'll be Rygar then. I'm glad that's over because this was one's familiarity was bugging me. Not that I was going to get it without that big clue.

I'm happy to post the next one but I feel like it's XTM's win!

Tau Ceti. Man, one of those games that I just didn't 'get' but wish I did because so many people seem to love it.

And they're not as cheap as an old DS anyway. And the 3DS-XL has a different resolution on the top scr...

Re: First tape/games you got with your ZX Spectrum

I got that Dixon's collection with my next Speccy. It was a +2A. It came with that and a bunch of games as part of a '100 games' collection that didn't have 100 games and the only good one was Angleball.

Re: First tape/games you got with your ZX Spectrum

I very nearly got a C16 too, because I knew we had very little money and it was the cheapest option. Even when I started to unwrap it on Christmas Day I thought it was a C16. A Speccy was beyond my wildest dreams (and my mum's bank balance - she got it on HP and it took ages to pay off) Kerry Katon...

I voted for Ikari Warriors. I played that demo through a bunch of times but oddly didn't really enjoy the full game.
