Re: Babbage?
No idea about how this softmag was presented. The only reference we have is the preserved files (TZX, instructions and inlay) at SC and WOS archives. In my blog I wasn't quite sure what to say. At the end, I have to modify that entry.

uMIA detected: Intro videogame from Microhobby Magazine
Hi people! IvanZX has recently told me "Intro" type-in from Microhobby magazine (issue 180, page 16) is still uMIA. At least, I couldn't find it through search tool, though. Fortunately, I must say this game was recovered years ago and is available from my BASIC preservation blog 'Proyecto...

Screen Copies: uMIA type-in from Popular Computing Weekly magazine
I've been searching if this still missing in action (and unlisted) type-in from Popular Computing Weekly magazine was preserved. As noticed it wasn't, I share it to you. It is listed at Jim Grimwood's website with so many unarchived/not preserved programs from this magazine at this moment. SCREEN CO...

Already uploaded for free download "Assembler/Editor" type-in from YC 1983 November issue (p. 159 - 167) > See Spectrum Computing entry I haven't checked this program completely, but I suppose works fine. Tell me about every system error prompted and I'll try to fix every one of them as we...

Spectrum-Amstrad Transfer (Your Computer, Jan 1987) available
While I'm actually checking last issues of Your Computer magazine in search of unregistered or not-typed-in programs for YC archive, I realised few BASIC listings aren't still available. One of them, this Spectrum-Amstrad Transfer from January 1987 issue: ENTRY Here you have the program once transfe...

Re: Libreria de Spectrum Soft nº 20 - Night (MIA game)
Thanks to Fede Jerez and Jose Manuel (El Trastero del Spectrum site) I got both files: inlay and tzx. :D NOTE: GTS editorial made a mistake with tape inlay details (wrong number and title): The game is really called "Lights" and it should have number 20 on front cover instead of 19. DOWNLO...

Re: Libreria de Spectrum Soft nº 20 - Night (MIA game)
Well, well...
I have good news. Somebody else could get another copy of this game and transfer tape's content to digital archive. Sooner or later will be available in a next future. That's all for now.

Libreria de Spectrum Soft nº 20 - Night (MIA game)
I've seen someone holding a copy of a MIA videogame from Libreria del Spectrum Software tape magazine in Facebook . Concretely, "Night" (unless marked as nº 19 on front cover of clam case inlay, thanks to SPA2 it belongs to 20th issue ). I've asked this guy if he could transfer the content...

Re: recording zxspin for youtube
For a while, when I tried to play AVI files created with Spectaculator with any of multimedia players installed in my computer, I could only listen it (no visual) with default Microsoft RLE compressor. After testing rest of options, I found that the third one from above "Intel IYUV" is the...

Re: recording zxspin for youtube
Unfortunately recording AVI videos in Spectaculator doesn't work anymore under Windows 10. Still works to me and I use W10. Control > Video Clip (AVI) > Record: create and put a name to your AVI file. Next, another window appears (Video Clip options): - Option 1: Video size - By default Medium (320...

Re: Missing Games Computing type-ins from any archive
Another uMIA type-in noticed at August 1984 issue of this magazine, but there's one inconvenience for its future preservation. Missing Games Computing type-ins from any archive
I'm actually checking contents of almost all Games Computing magazine issues (except Feb. 1985 one, not scanned yet) in search of ZX Spectrum type-ins (and other systems) for a future private DVD compilation, and I've already noticed there's nothing about them in the archive, neither on WOS Infoseek...

I hope to send these files to Jim Grimwood for his TTFn web, with a lot of other magazines' programs found and/or typed, soon.
BTW, does anybody know about Jim and how is he? Last TTFn update was made in 30th November 2019.
