Re: Artillero game (MIA) by Cesar Hernandez Baño

Uh... from a previous entry of mine in this thread...

"Micromanía (Doña Tecla)" - COMPLETE (Note: There's one program called Bananas that DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY and it's impossible to fix unless I tried, as it was wrongly printed in the magazine - missing UDGs mainly)

Re: Artillero game (MIA) by Cesar Hernandez Baño

This is a big job that I don't have time for at the moment. If someone else wants to volunteer and pick a letter perhaps then please shout out here. Summary: lots of missing stuff here: https://proyectobasiczx.wordpress.com/otros/a-c/ Task - get files not available, take screenshots, which have ZXD...

Re: Artillero game (MIA) by Cesar Hernandez Baño

I'm disappointed I couldn't contribute with that effort. I'm sure I have a lot of games typed from ZX/Todospectrum, but they are mixed with other publications, and I tried to search for them a couple of times, without success. If I try again, do you have an idea of what magazines and numbers you ne...

Artillero game (MIA) by Cesar Hernandez Baño

Hi, people. Just to say some time ago I found a .tzx file of this videogame created by Cesar Hernandez Baño (author of ZEsaUX emulator) from a bunch of files Jose Manuel Claros (El Trastero del Spectrum) sent me for my personal preservation of ZX Spectrum BASIC programs at Proyecto BASIC ZX. I don't...

uMIA: "Discovery" (CRL Group, 1988)

Hi, Navigating across WOS forums I read it was found and preserved some years ago a ZX Spectrum copy of a videogame called "Discovery" by CRL software house, a complete uMIA. Since then, no entry was made in that site, neither here, and I wonder if someone would give it a chance. If you ne...

ZX-81 stuff for preservation

Hi, I recently own a bunch of ZX-81 programs after winning an auction elsewhere in the net. Some of these tapes were labelled and produced by Indescomp, a pioneer Spanish distributing company and software producer in the early years of Sinclair home computers. Also, a friend of mine passed me severa...

Re: Scuttlebutt

Funny one! xDDD How about the controls to start with? Unless I could hardly notice which key was used to start the game as I pushed almost all keys altogether, I didn't get it. "1" and "2" are okay for left and right, respectively. I missed some more info about it, unless it's qu...

Pickpocket by Gemini Software (Tape inlay not preserved)

Hi,

I've already found this ebay advert with a nice copy of PickPocket videogame by Gemini Software, which I think it needs to be taken by someone of us, just because its tape inlay hasn't been preserved in ages, neither on WoS nor here. Only needs to pay a quid for it, imho.

See it here.

Thanks! Somewhat I remade it with a changed text on back spine (you can find it in my retrogaming blog joined to my own custom inlays of another games). It's the good one. :)

Re: Horace & The Robots

The Cover color bands are strickingly different from the side band colors. Looks nice, but I would match the color bands colors, since they have different hues. It's fine. Uploaded new version with equal band colors. ;) BTW, if someone wants another text for back inlay, instead of Indie Retro Games...

Re: Horace & The Robots

I developed a classic Sinclair tape inlay, if anyone likes to transfer the game into a cassette and load it as it's been always during these 35 years. ;)

Re: Sabre Wulf standard case inlay

According to Jesus M. del Vas (a quite well-known member of the ZX Spectrum scene in Spain) via Twitter, he confirms they are jewel versions that were sold in packs at a lower price, or separately. There is another version of Saber Wulf with a white spine that could even be earlier than the cardboar...

Re: Sabre Wulf standard case inlay

I'd be glad to rework on the scans for more detail and remove blur from them. In the meantime, I've already asked in my Twitter account for any confirmation about this particular issue. EDIT: New scans of the inlay already made, again to 300dpi and no filter used. Front and reverse sides uploaded.

Re: Sabre Wulf standard case inlay

I can say, talking about quality paper of the tape inlay, it seems quite similar to standard and official releases made by most of software companies in the past. If it's fake or not, there's one thing someone could do, if possible: asking to Tim and Chris Stamper directly about this issue (mission ...

Sabre Wulf standard case inlay

Hi. I've recently purchased a curious, rare or very rare issue of Ultimate's Sabre Wulf in small case and I wanted to share with you just the tape inlay, as it was never preserved. Another difference in this release with boxed one is in the colour of cassette labels, slight clear red, rather than ob...

Re: In Search Of Mort / En Busca de Mortadelo hosting

Hi! Well, in fact it was MIA until several years ago that some friends from Computer Emuzone (Raul Monton, mainly) found it but as a Z80 snapshot , not in tape format. But for some reason wasn't submitted to WOS archive during the following dates in that state. I've seen there's an entry in this sit...

In Search Of Mort / En Busca de Mortadelo hosting

Hi, It's my first post in this new forum. Some may know myself from WOS and other retrogaming forums. ;) The question is that graphic artist and also programmer Alfonso Fdez. Borro is asking for hosting the new and definite version of his unique videogame "En Busca de Mortadelo" (or In Sea...
