Re: 8-BIT ANNUAL 2019 - 8-BIT DEV CONTEST

Maybe an opportunity for me to get back coding on the Vectrex - good thing that the deadline is in October so I can finish other stuff first! :)

Re: LIST of loader screens

P.S. Now that I think about, I’m not sure how you were able to break into BASIC to begin with. It clearly messes up the ERR SP system variable, so if you try to break into BASIC after the LOAD statement has been executed, the computer should reset. Hmm. Are you pulling our leg here? All I did was t...

Re: LIST of loader screens

I was just interested in seeing other basic code from other loading screens (like the one pictured).

As for WDW2, looks like I'll have to find another copy as, sadly, that one isn't working.

LIST of loader screens

I've been testing my new kempston interface (3 ports that seem to be kempston and sinclair) and I loaded up an old classic that I got from ebay - Who Dares Wins 2. I couldn't get it to load, weirdly. I've never had any issue with the copy I had in the day. I did notice that this copy had a different...

Re: ZXSpin assembler not working

Pasmo command is: pasmo --tap yourasmfile.asm yourasmfile.tap or pasmo --tapbas yourasmfile.asm yourasmfile.tap Bear in mind that these don't have file paths as I'm used to having pasmo in my cmd path so I can execute it anywhere. A file path example is something like this: pasmo --tap C:/path/to/ga...

That's excellent. I had completely forgotten about Matt's tools, this was a timely reminder. Thanks!
Same here. I'm still in testing phase for some of the routines but when finished I'll be putting it together for a game.

Re: ZXSpin assembler not working

just out of curiosity, how do i save to tape or disk if i make a game? :?: Dev-wise I use ZX Spin to check if the code I've done is ok, the only thing that doesn't work properly is the beeper. When I'm happy I use Pasmo to compile and turn it into a tape format. If you want to add a loading screen ...

Re: ZXSpin assembler not working

If you're using 0.7 like me, try using whatever version @namco is using. Or give up!
It's version 0.666
