Just watched it in German. Translation is right, Luftkissenfahrzeug voller Aale.
I was mistaking a news report about military hovercrafts that was aired back in the days in Germany probably for a Monty Python episode. They were driving that thing through all sorts of terrains, marsh, small rivers etc.
