Old Site: another Celeste game for Spectrum Next
Hi, I have published a new Celeste game for Spectrum Next. It is a different game from the previous one (although similar). The thing is that after working on the mechanics and character dynamics, I felt that the game was too short. So I decided to make another game, based on a mod that I like a lot...

Re: Celeste Classic remake for Spectrum Next
Great job! Celeste is such a wonderful game. It can't have been easy porting to the Next! Unfortunately, I don't own a Next so can't actually check it out but I appreciate the effort just the same. You're right, It wasn't an easy port due to having to use 16 bit fixed point (8.8) for physics calcul...

Re: Celeste Classic remake for Spectrum Next
This is brilliant work. Thanks for releasing the source code as well! I spent an embarrassing amount of time on the first screen before I realised I could "dash' upwards as well as across, and a little while longer before realising how to use the balloons. You absolutely need that second fire ...

Hi, I have published a Spectrum Next remake of Celeste Classic (the Pico-8 iconic platformer). You can download it for free from this link: https://davidprograma.itch.io/celeste I've tried to make an accurate recreation and I think I've succeeded, it's as fun (and difficult) as the original. It's be...

Re: Bean Brothers for Spectrum Next
Hello, I have published an update in the game page . From now on, when completing a level, the next one is unlocked. Unlocked level can be accessed from the level selection screen. But there is still a reward for players who finish the game from start to end: life counter and a surprise final screen...

You can download is as a file from itch.io, or check the GitHub repo https://github.com/dcrespo3d/BeanBrosRemake In theory, using the Godot Editor, you could create your own levels yourself ;) See the README.md file for advice and ...

Re: Bean Brothers for Spectrum Next
Added Windows and OSX versions, they are native executables created by Godot. It's lightweight and uses GLES2 backend, so it should run smooth on any machine with 10 years old or less. Runs great on a Steam Deck using the Proton compatibility layer. https://i.postimg.cc/Vrmgp9d3/beanbros-steam-deck....
