Re: The best Speccy game by Cult Games: vote

Am i right in saying Cult and D&H games released games sent in by programmers rather than being written in house?

Re: The best Speccy game by Cult Games: vote

Software House, despite it being slightly buggy and i always go bankrupt quickly. On the bench is another good one, strangely playable even after you win everything. Played Striker but that had a habit resetting when it went to the animated section. Was rubbish anyway.

Too late to vote but i'd pick Football Director. I tried the snooker one but it was boring and nearly sent me into a coma.

This may have been mentioned earlier but in the game Street Gang by Players you can just jump through all the screens and complete the game in 5 minutes :D

Re: What, in your eyes, is the worst games software house?

Blue Ribbon were poor. Can't remember anything decent from them, not that they released much. Tynesoft were poor as well but they've already been mentioned already a few times. Power House was another label that never seemed to do well. Another one was Zeppelin, i can't remember playing anything hal...

I've only ever played HRH never got past the scene with someone driving a lawnmower. I always died at that point. It was quite amusing at the time but half the characters are now dead.

There's a section in Curse of Sherwood where you teleport to a different part of the map.

Think Game Over was more famous for it's rather risqué (for the time) advert. But the game isn't too bad.

Hard to pick one, so many great titles but plumped for Back to Skool.
Others i like are Wheelie, Trapdoor, Andy Capp, The big sleaze, Wheelie, Skool Daze, Contact Sam Cruise, Yogi Bear and The two Adrian Mole titles amongst others.
