Gavin Wade Credits
Thanks Gears! I wonder why Gavin Wade and Drew Northcott are listed there? Northcott was a loading screen artists, but not sure about Wade. The loading screen is signed PIP+PAVL to make things more confusing. I can track those names from the old WOS, so, they were there for a while. Yeah, was wonde...

Had this been a paying job, absolutely!Ast A. Moore wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:08 pm Fair enough, but then you need to emulate the halftone grid in the colored portions of the J-card, apply some relicing, and convert the whole thing to CMYK.

Re: Super rare old Spectrum game discovered!
There’s a couple of typos that need to be fixed in the loading instructions: tap —> tape, “symbol” in “symbol SHIFT” needs to be capitalized, and I’m not sure if the “R Type Loading Error” is a nod to Dave or also a typo. ;) P.S. I’d use straight quotes (shocker!) for the LOAD "" instruct...

Re: Super rare old Spectrum game discovered!
The young padawan (in regards to correct Speccy gfx) needs to know that you can't have bright 1 and bright 0 in the same 8x1 pixel row, or in the same 8x8 pixels attribute cell under "normal" circumstances (=not using any sort of multicolour routine/engine). In any case, Paper and Ink wil...

Re: Super rare old Spectrum game discovered!
It'd be worth checking the screenshot for attribute cells with 3 colours ;) Great job all the same, though! :D Thanks! :) I do put an effort in to make the attributes correct, but usually make one that has more than two colours! Just not to disappoint anyone that looks closer! But can't remember wh...

Additional credit for Flying Shark
Noticed that Steve Turner is missing in ZXDB credits for Flying Shark (https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/1 ... ying_Shark). He made the music according to one of the title screens (attached).

Re: Broken SU review link "Earth Defence" and others
Hey Peter,
The links are red and I actually DIDN'T try the page number, for unknown reasons! The page number works fine and leads to local URL. So I guess all is good.

Rock 'n Roll updated credits
I just now got chatting with Anthony Rosbottom on YouTube and I found out that he created the graphics on the Spectrum version of Rock 'n Roll(he also worked on the ST version). Which was completely missing in the credits here, also no roles assigned. So I added the credits on Moby and I thought I w...

Re: Killer Kong screenshot
Oh, this worth a note in the game entry. Based on the inlays, it seems that here are indeed two Blaby Computer Games releases. Release #1 has no title screen and the old kong graphic, and it is preserved as the tape image #3 Release #2 has a title screen and a better kong graphic, and it is preserv...

Re: Killer Kong screenshot
There are four main file downloads: 1. tzx - blaby different 2. tap - blaby 3. tzx - blaby 4. tzx - prism 1, 2 and 4 seem identical, but the Kong sprite on tzx #3 matches the screen shot and also the map. What the!? You are right! But I went through all of them using the JSSpeccy links and they wer...

Killer Kong screenshot
I noticed that the in-game screenshot on Killer Kong looks different compared to all the versions available. There is one version labelled "different", but it still looks the same as the other versions. Just wondering if maybe there's been a mix-up. Or possibly we don't have the differentl...
