Re: New Database Model ZXDB

The sheet works best as an index for all the bugs reported and solved (or not) on the forum. I'm already doing that myself, just to keep track on everything I'm looking at, perhaps is not a big deal to open a public spreadsheet and add everything there. Just to be clear, I'm doing this by REPORT, a...

Re: New Database Model ZXDB

As the main person currently doing corrections at the moment, what do you prefer @druellan ? Would it be useful to have a volunteer (perhaps @StooB ?) to keep on top of a finalised corrections spreadsheet, that is basically a list of ZXDB ID and a concise explanation of the correction needed? (Or w...

Re: New Database Model ZXDB

Always good to have an update, but I've noticed that the corrections in the Little Bugs thread are being applied very sporadically, or not at all. These reports are now six months old. Is ZXDB suffering from the problems seen in a lot of open-source projects, where only shiny new things are of any ...

Re: I made a new App for the Multiface 3

druellan - It really made me smile to see you actually captured some hidden loading screen messages with my code - thats really cool! And yes, I would love for you to use my code in a stream so feel free to do that :-) Done! And we found a little collection of hidden messages and secretly signed sc...

Re: I made a new App for the Multiface 3

I was playing with this the weekend, and works pretty well, but for some reason was a pain to make it work on ZXSpin/FUSE, I ended using EightyOne. https://i.postimg.cc/BtK8Nf9f/2019-05-10-20h19-38.png https://i.postimg.cc/gLV2pdmw/2019-05-10-20h22-18.png Hobes128 one small improvement, if you're st...

Is there a way to batch download .scr loading screens from somewhere? I'd like to try searching for hidden elements on a larger range of screens.
If you're still looking for this I can try and extract all the .scr from a WOS mirror, many files have the .scr inside the ZIP.

I also asked the authors how to make it work in a Spectrum :) I can see on the blog that you need an interface with the new ROM, something very similar to a Mikro-plus. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8i6aFYvuFXU/UnLW4xur_RI/AAAAAAAAGT4/BriI1Hvnk8Q/w723-h542-no/20131024_112457.jpg Source: https:...

Re: Toto, a uMIA game from spanish Homebrew group Cañadul

I have a full 48k SNA that works but I'm not sure it is complete. You still need the ROM Ace 6000 in place, since this game pretty much a Jupiter Ace game on Spectrum hardware. I included the SNA in the Dropbox ZIP above.

Nice x2. I didn't type it, but copy&paste the code in ZX-Editor (yep, I'm lazy).
If you don't mind I'm probably going to stream my findings at some point, using you tool live :)

Re: Toto, a uMIA game from spanish Homebrew group Cañadul

Managed to make it work stripping the 27 bytes SNA header, but something is still missing. I managed to make it work using the provided ROM as Spectrum 48k, loading the .bin (check the link) in address 1 and then on address 0: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0zgzci0ezvr4il8/Toto_bin%2Brom.zip?dl=1 https:/...
