Dru you big tease, how are you adding the colour?!
The fireworks? I don't know why in your version they are monochrome. The GIF is from the Timex version, but AFAIK the 48k version also has colors. :?:

Re: What are your current Spectrum projects?

Ok, this is going to sound like a lot, but it is not, it's just that I'm lazy and start things that I never finish, but... I'm recovering some text adventures and software I wrote end of eighties/start of nineties (mostly, the tape loaders I wrote for them, I have the software preserved on disk) and...

Re: Feature: Vector Graphics

Anyway, it really means anything you display on screen (real-time computation) based on geometry and maths, as opposed to bitmaps or pre-rendered images. Yeah that is exactly what I think the group should be for, so, perhaps what I can do is check the list and extract the software that is not using...

Re: Feature: Vector Graphics

Would you class Tempest as wireframe 3D graphics due to the depth effect of the tunnel? Because the original game was most definitely using a vector graphics system in the original hardware, similar to the Vectrex (which is really part of the name). Yeah, that's the thing I'm trying to figure out. ...

Re: Role Playing Games

Someone mentioned Swords & Sorcery, a very underrated game for the Speccy. It is very interesting as a game, but hard and has some bugs: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=5101

Re: Feature: Vector Graphics

Oh, I forgot to paste the actual list on ZXDB: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.php?cat=999&group_id=1024 So based on the discussion, games that has some sort of realtime vectors are ok, but games that are "inspired", using wireframe sprites but not actual vectors, are not. There are a couple o...

Feature: Vector Graphics

I hope I'm not opening another can of worms with this, but... what exactly is the idea of the group "vector graphics"? 1. Are we talking about game developed with a 3D realtime vector graphics engine like Elite https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.php?cat=96&id=1601 2. A game that has some vector g...

Beyker, a member of the Spanish Telegram group tested the WAV on real hardware, and it works, in fact, he noticed that you can stop the load at any point and resume.

What is Mozaication all about?
Is it ULAplus or some Timex mode? How does one take a representative screenshot?
I'm playing with the timing modes on EmuZWin but still I can't see anything similar to the video. I see the palette rotation, but a lot of flickering.
