Re: New Upload & Edit Facility

Another thing. Seems that it is required to upload a file, even when you're only editing an entry.

Re: New Upload & Edit Facility

Ok, first question. If I want to remove a game from a group, for example, I want to remove https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=2778 from "vector graphics" group, how I must proceed? Seems to me that a "no group" option should be present at the top? Or a checkbox?

Re: TileMap v1.0

Something interesting might be Robin of the Wood, since it is a game based almost purely on random positions on the map.
I'm not sure if the positions are resolved before the player enters a room, but if that is the case, could be interesting to watch realtime 8-)

Re: Little bugs in the database

I wonder why [MOD] Manic Miner - Highscore Challenge - https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.php?cat=96&id=34429 has this screen capture? https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/SCRtoImage.php?SCR=zxdb/sinclair/entries/0034429/0034429-run-1.scr Looks like it was captured just at the end of the level, when e...

What an incredible idea. ¡Love it! Game maps is something I'm starting to dig in, but this is on a whole new level.

Re: The "Maze" genre

I'm going to leave here my preliminary work on this category. Mind that this are my notes, so, they are a bit messy, sorry about that. I'm trying to be conservative and not to move games from category to category unless I strongly feel they are miss-categorized, but even so, there a lot of games on ...

Re: The "Maze" genre

If everyone agrees, the first step is choosing the new categories. OK? Oh, I STRONGLY agree. Trying to re-categorize this is taking me so much time, and for sure there are a lot of games that are impossible to categorize using this system. I think that the first step could be to convert the actual ...

Re: Game of the day...

I've never heard of that before. It sounds proper cool, and original. Would that even have a genre these days? Simulation? Must try it out tomorrow. Sorry the typo on the name, but the link is the correct one: Mission Omega. I think the game has more strategy than simulation really, the problem is ...
