Vortex Tracker has also undergone a large number of improvements and bugfixes since this topic was created, potentially including fixes for the issues I mentioned earlier. It looks like a Delphi license is needed to build the project though. Yes - forgot to mention that I'm using Vortex Tracker 2.5!

This is what I watched to get me started. It’s all still seems a bit crackers but managed to get a tune or two out of it so far.
