Re: CPad C Interpreter for Windows
Hi @yossik32,
Can I ask how this is actually related to the Spectrum or retro computing in general (apart from the 'tribute'?). From the website I understand it does not create Spectrum specific code (similar to Z88DK)?

Re: Issues with emulators for Linux
What distro are you using Sweevo , I tend to use Ubuntu or Mint and haven't experienced those issues. The author of ZEsarUX is here so may be able to help. chernandezba . It's probably a bit of overkill, but you can install RetroPie on Debian based distro. That includes quite a few Spectrum emulator...

Cheez26 , IMHO Fuse has a very confusing way of creating tap files. It's not intuitive in the slightest. More details here: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=5250&hilit=Fuse#p5250 If you are using the 48k machine, then z80 or sna will be fine for snapshots. If using 128k, I...

Re: Thinking about trying out CGD before I try out PGD
Cheez26 , I'm with ketmar on this. You can try all the tools in the world, but that won't move you forward. I know BASIC is frowned upon by many, but the original ZX Spectrum Manual is excellent. Work your way through it, and that will help you understand the machine. Write some simple games and ge...

Re: QAOP bust again?
Thanks for the details @sn3j,
It looks like QAOP have recently changed to HTTPS, and we are still requesting HTTP.
Give me a couple of days to fix at our end. Looks like some browsers are complaining.
Is Chrome for W7 still updated by Google?
Thanks again.

Can you test multiple titles, and let me have a bit more detail. Cheers.

@Cheez26,
Fuse is available on most Linux distributions, and that's what i recommend. I mainly use Ubuntu (Puppy is Ubuntu based), Fedora, or Mint. I did build Arch and Gentoo from scratch once, but that was three days I will be get back,

Spot on. There's only Dave and I moderating and I don't have the time, energy or inclination to moderate off-topic.
We did ask a few years back and people overwhelming said no thanks. There is an 'other retro' section if that helps.

@777,
Take a look at the first few chapters of this excellent book. Whilst it's title indicates it advanced, it's not really (especially in the first few chapters):
