Re: Help with SetoLOAD
So... after a bit of messing that worked really well :D, 5:10 becomes 2:44 - thanks Alessandro! https://i.postimg.cc/HrWbHjmB/SETO.png One thing you didn't mention is that the code blocks need to be headerless when following your approach and loader example, but that was an easy f...

Re: Help with SetoLOAD
Thanks for this Alessandro so it looks like you essentially implement the entire loader in asm and change the timings of the blocks in the tape image. All of them require a basic knowledge of Z80 Assembly I can assemble things, but just with spin at the moment. Not had time to set...

Help with SetoLOAD
Hi Alessandro Sorry to bother but I wonder if you could help with this? I would like to use your SetoLOAD function in my game, but I'm not really sure how to go about implementing this. I've seen the english page on your site and downloaded the source but all the comments are in I...

Re: Some MIA games / variations
R-Tape it would make sense to have some sort of process for this as it feels like the scans would have gone missing if I'd not checked up on this (which tbf you did mention in PM at the time) and then bothered pavero on Facebook (Thanks again!).

R-Tape these have been in the DB for a while but no sign of the inlay scans yet? How long does that take?

Re: Ninja Gardening Simulator
Bump! I've just released a fairly hefty update for this. Various bugs squashed, some nice new features and a bit more polish. I'm sure it's done now, time to work on something else :) Available on itch as before: https://blueowl0708.itch.io/ninja-gardening-simulator Changelog for v1.5: - 4 new game...

Power Drift is probably the closest available thing to what your describing?
Forgetting the mode 7 aesthetic, you're basically after a proper track based multiplayer racer with laps.

Re: Some MIA games / variations
Can anyone find any clues to author names and year of release for the 5 x Let's Compute! Club games? Had a trawl through the magazines on archive.org. The first issue was BBC Archimedes and Electon only, but they expanded to various other micros including the Spectrum from issue 2 onwards (the Lets...

Re: Some MIA games / variations
Best of them is Bombscare but it's actually first version of already well known game. Paddy is interesting too. It's some kind of poor man's Manic Miner, written probably in some complited Basic. With some perseverance you can actually play it, I completed a level myself ;) Perserverance is exactly...

Re: Definitive list of games incompatible with +2A/+3 and of compatible versions (if any)
Hi Alessandro, What's your stance on games that expect the keyboard to behave like an issue 2 48k Spectrum? I'm unsure what the difference is exactly but these games tend to not respond to key presses on a +2. I am aware of at least 2 games that do this but there are surely more :)
