Re: Speccy golf - a good computer spoiled

I only ever played World Class Leaderboard and thought it was great! A little slow to build the landscape may be but there were a lot of trees to render on those courses.

Written by Jim Bagley so gets extra points for that surely?

Re: CRASH LIVE 2023, Sat 18 Nov

Just wondering about the draw for the Next. Do we have to be present in the room when the draw takes place to win? If we have left and our ticket is drawn, is it re-drawn until someone present wins it?

Some of those were great, the space shuttle and the butterfly particularly. As for the saucy pictures I was just reading the articles, honest.

Something old or is it somthing new: Sploids for Next

Hi. Thought it might be nice to port Sploids (Assemboids derivative to the Next from the SAM). Added some bonus tiles that were unused (or rather tiles I forgot to use in my rush to see the back of the SAM project) from the original to enhance it a little with MEGA POINTS now possible as a result. O...

Real Next User for testing

Hi, I ported one of my SAM games to Next (Sploids), it works fine on my NGo, but just want to have it tested on a Real Next before I release it to the general public (to ignore, natch) if anyone is up for it?

Yay, have a go a this then: "The aesthetic is clearly Manic Minerian in a very cute way, little in game tune included. The gameplay is different instead, it's not a platform, but a one screen you're-in-a-maze-so-collect-the-items-and-avoid-the-nasties game, although I'm not certain this is the ...

Not a loading screen but some nice box art. "Dozy looking red maggot emerges from a hole in the the ground facing right next to a cup of tea. A dozy looking bee flies from the the left above a pink and white spotted mushroom growing from the ground. Shrubbery can be seen behind the maggot."...

Mine went into the loft fully functional around the time I move to the Amiga I suppose (1991) and then it came back down again in about 2007 fully disfunctional. That was a bit of a bum.

Really enjoying this thread - thank you for posting. Great to see what might have been. I had no idea there was a Street Fighter Port for the SAM, and, looking at it now it has to be said it's a ruddy great conversion of that dreadful Amiga version. It really shows Tietex up when you consider the ha...

I voted yes because it seems tidier and an obvious place to go to should I require SAM discussion. However, I generally consume the forum only via the recent topics thing at the top of the forum anyway! It’s incredibly convenient.
