Re: Knight Hero

AGD was updated to allow the user to set thinner sprites, down to about 10px I think (on phone so can't check) and this game utilises that (12px). It doesn't allow adjustment of height collision though. Jonathan can't keep adding features to AGD forever but I think Y collision adjustment is worth c...

Re: Knight Hero

I often wonder how hard it would be for AGD to be updated with more forgiving collision detection routines. IT is clearly an excellent product and some very talented people create some great stuff out of it but all too often I'm turned off the games produced because of the crazy collisions. :(

Re: Beginner's ASM Tutorial: Multiplatform Z80 ASM development videos... with vampires!

I'd like to see my panic style platformer (Lost Tapes of Albion/EFMB) converted to as many platforms as possible (currently Speccy, SAM, Amiga, MSX, PC and someone's working on a C64 version), the CPC may be one I can manage myself eventually. Jaco is going to stab me to death, but I am going to co...

Re: opening non zipped files

Ordinarily it is something that needs to be fixed by whoever hosts the files.

I experience the same problem with that site though. Affects Internet Explorer, but not Firefox or Chrome. Suggest you switch browser and try again?

Correct! Linford Christie's Folly.
I got hung up on it being Linford or the Auction house and couldn't think of any other Christie that it might be!

In terms of the cryptic clue guide what sort of category does that clue fit into?

Re: opening non zipped files

It is quite likely the web server not being configured with the correct mime type for the file. It probably defaults to delivering it down as text and your browser displays it as such.

Re: The best classic Speccy game beginning with C: discussion

The other day I played the original version of Crystal Kingdom Dizzy and thought it played OK. Admittedly, I didn't spend too long on it but I didn't see why the particular need for the new version. It should be included in my opinion (not that I'll vote for it :D)

Re: DivMMC EnJOY! Mini - USR Mode 0

Tried it tonight but my plus 2 is dead :( I tested it instead on my Plus 2A - loading a z80 snapsnot created in ZX Spin and it appears to work absolutely fine. I realise +2 and +2a are different beasties, though. Also, mine isn't a DivMMC EmJOY! mini, it's a big chunky one I got a couple of years ago.
