Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion

There's more on the email, but the crux of it is here: "Happy news: the new keyboard, already tested at the manufacturing partner, is on its way to the Next team in the UK for a final ‘I’ve tested it myself’ confirmation before the greenlight for mass production, which should happen as soon as next ...

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion

*Tumbleweed blows past* ZX Next Kickstarter Update #49, first really good news in a long time but we're all studiously ignoring it? *lone cricket* 2hr later edit: Just seems a bit odd is all. I'm quite pleased by the news, maybe others feel they have heard it all before. I don't know, but on the fir...

It's been mentioned quite a few times over the years in various Speccy discussions and each time there's been someone who's surprised by it (including me...)

Re: Trying to fix my ZxSpectrum+

Well while I'm sorry I can't help you much here, as the person that sent you here from another social media site (shhhh!), I'm impressed with the effort you are persisting with to get it fixed.

Somebody's voted for Martianoids.

Now, yeah, this is a democratic vote and all that, but I never envisaged THAT happening!

We have an anarchist in this forum!
Bet it was Spuds as their '3rd place'. :P

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hi there! Hi Mike, good to see you here. As a backer, I left the Facebook forum because I don't use FB, and using my other half's FB account got her quite a bit of attention, including several personal and unsolicited requests of one-to-one tuition on the finer points of her ass embler . St...

Re: First and final: Ocean Software

Just when I think I've heard everything about the Spectrum's glory days (not really), someone posts some gold, great stuff and more please? Kong actually was my first Spectrum game, can't actually remember my last, possibly Robocop on the Spectrum? Edit: Paul Owen's '0 lives left' at the game over s...

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion

Why is the Next team struggling with the keyboard for almost 2 years? Don't we have a ready, working solutions how to make a keyboard? My personal guess is that they went quite far down the original +/128k look route, which in and of itself informs the mechanical design, but also wanted to improve ...
