Re: +3 sound quality?

I certainly never knew of anyone with a +3, which supports that hypothesis. Incidentally, the toastrack which I recently bought has had the Beeper-AY resistor fix, but the beeper is still a fair bit louder. However, overall a lot quieter than my 48K when connected to my TV. After your own fix, are t...

Re: Little bugs in the database 2

Another couple of good YouTube sources to collate with the entry for La Abadía Del Crimen, which were very hard for me to find once again having partially viewed them on my searches for the game: Here is a long two part documentary in Spanish about the game and its standing as a treasure of the Gold...

Re: Little bugs in the database 2

I have been quite intrigued by La Abadía del Crimen and noticed there were several mentions of an unofficial English translation including this full playthrough on YouTube but no obvious download links for an English version. After a lot of dead-end searches I discovered that MAME supports it (well...

Re: Introduce yourself!

Mind you, I'm pretty rusty. I've been using BASIC again for my CGC entry and got through about 10 possibilities before I found "AT". I programmed 95% of Artillery with a Recreated ZX Spectrum Bluetooth keyboard specifically for ease of keyword input before I discovered that on Fuse for Mac you can ...

Re: 128K toastrack manuals

Surely Sinclair wouldn't presume every purchaser of a 128K model would also have a previous issue manual though? Are you saying that the 128K also included the original 16K/48K floating cloud city covered manual?

128K toastrack manuals

Back in the day I had a 16K ZX Spectrum followed by a +2. They both came with the very clear Sinclair BASIC manual. I recently bought a refurbed 128K toastrack model in excellent condition as a bare machine. I have bought the 'ZX Spectrum+ User Guide' separately but, although it has some programming...

Re: Super Enquiry Simulator

I enjoyed that, many a chuckle while playing. Great graphics - the kitchen becoming messier was a neat touch.

Liked the Kubrick nod.
And what an accurate simulation, uncanny. And to think, I played it in Arcade mode!

Re: Little bugs in the database 2

Great. Thought I'd let you know in case there was some other cause :)
Thanks!
