The best I can come up with is Crash #02, page 25 (https://archive.org/details/crash-magaz ... 3/mode/2up), in a review of Wheelie:
The makers boast that Wheelie has some of the best graphics you're ever likely to see on a Spectrum.

Re: Magazine Scores
Apologies for reviving an old thread, and for the lack of updates to RetroPDFs; I took a bit of a break after getting far too angry with a certain owner of a well-known Spectrum website. The hopefully good news is I should have an update to the site before the end of 2020, and I'm still seeding all ...

Re: World of Spectrum....
Einar, I commend your patience in dealing with Lee, but I fear you're wasting your time. Everything you have done has been technically exemplary, proposed politely and communicated respectfully. Instead, you get rudeness, contradictions and misdirection; selectively responding to choice allegations ...

Emulator that allows loading from real tape?
Does anyone know of an emulator (preferably Mac) that allows loading via audio - i.e. from a real tape, via a MIC in lead, just like in the good old days? Spectaculator (or at least the Windows version) allows "loading from audio source", but it's not working very well for me. Fuse, ZEsarU...

Re: Spectrum namedrops...
OK, this isn't really Speccy-related, but: I met the lady who did the at some of the voices of the Lemmings. I was working in Dundee doing general IT support, and regularly visited a small company which I'm sure was called Medical Instrumentation. I got to know them pretty well, and one day one of t...

Toni Baker
I've asked this before, in another time, in another place, but let's see if this more ... refined crowd can answer something that's been puzzling me for years :) Do we all remember Toni Baker, author of the seminal Mastering Machine Code on your ZX Spectrum, byline on many articles in YS, ZX Computi...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Morning all, another refugee from "the other place" :) All about me: Spectrum owner since the age of 10, mainly games but I ended up with a lot of C15's full of my own half-finished BASIC games featuring terrible UDGs. I then went onto the Sam Coupé, for about 5 minutes, before trading tha...
