Re: Top 100 ZX Spectrum Games

What top 100? Perhaps the top scores list? http://spectrum20.org/games/best That's actually a Top 3,600 or so. But I'm very excited to discover from it that I wrote the third-worst Spectrum game of all time, and that someone actually played it all the way to the end, which is more than I ever did 😄...

Re: Top 100 ZX Spectrum Games

Interested to see how this pans out.
With something like the SNES you know the top 5 will consist of Zelda, Super Mario World, Mario Kart, Metroid and Castlevania.
With the Spectrum anything goes even All or Bloody Nothing!

Quite recently I read a comment that Clive Sinclair becoming sir Clive Sinclair wasn't as big, exceptional deal as sometimes presented.
I bet he doesn't even know how to ride a horse.

Re: Spikie Goes Skiing - My first 'full' Spectrum game

This is extremely good for a first game.
The Skiing part is impossible! Do you have to go through all the flags?

I struggled a bit with WASD and would've preferred QAOP.

Well done, you've made a game more playable than Kosmic Kanga on your first attempt!

I can see I've chosen the wrong hobby! Perhaps I should take up knitting?
