RoseTintedSpectrum | November Roundup

Hello folks, I thought it was about time for the November round-up of RTS videos, so here we go: Pre-November Monster Munch Episode 2 - I drop my 7 year old daughter into 3 Spectrum games and sees what she thinks. This episode includes Cauldron, Addams Family and Rocky Horror Show. The Malignant Gor...

Re: RoseTintedSpectrum | October Roundup

I started with the Monster Munch vid. Very cute! Looks like pretty much everyone has the same learning experience of Treasure Island Dizzy regardless of their age. "Do I get a pound then?" I was hoping beyond hope that she would do exactly what she did. It's pretty damn obvious with the Olive...

Re: RoseTintedSpectrum | October Roundup

Hahaha, my cleavage is pretty ample as it is.

Glad you're enjoying the videos! It's practically a second job at this point, although I actually get good feedback and a sense of satisfaction from this one :)

Re: Bitmap Soft

This is really nice to see, reminds me of the guys who do the boxed indie games... Who's name I almost forgot... They're called Indiebox, Jesus wept, that wasn't difficult. Loving the look of those coloured cassette tapes!

Deathchase. I loved it to bits, and it still holds up well. Even the control scheme is pretty damn ingenious.

Re: RoseTintedSpectrum | Retro Reviews

As a kid I never gave any thought to the inappropriate themes on show in Mr Wino, but I loved it and thought for £1.99 great value for money. Can't remember if I got very far, but completing speccy games was never a thing for me really - most were impossibly hard and I just accepted it. Nice videos...

Re: RoseTintedSpectrum | Retro Reviews

Haha, it's not a game I've ever known anyone else to have played, so I had to cover it just so the next time I try to convince someone it actually existed, I can just point to this video. I never had this game first time around, but acquired it as part of a job lot a few years back. I haven't reach...

Re: RoseTintedSpectrum | Retro Reviews

It's a pleasant change to listen to one of these from someone who (a) has clear diction and a mild accent (b) has something to say other than 'umm' and 'err' or just swearing at their own incompetence with the game and (c) isn't a rabid nutjob! So well done! :D Haha, thanks very much. I come from a...

Me and my sister used to love playing it, I was so jealous that she could get to the level where you got to pick...
