Re: Space Raiders disassembly
Nice work. I'm trying to convert this back to asm using skool2asm but skoolkit 8.6 is throwing the following error :- ERROR: Found unsupported macro: #SCR I'm guessing it's something to do with the loading screen but I can't figure out what's wrong. Have you tried converting it back to asm yourself ...

Re: RIP Sir Clive
R.I.P. Sir Clive Thanks for having the vision to invent things that brought so much happiness to so many people all around the world. With the passing of Rick Dickinson in 2018 and now Sir Clive it only leaves Richard Altwasser and Steve Vickers from the core design/development team of the Spectrum....

Re: Harrier Attack
There was plenty of space left for a redefine keys routine as the game only occupies memory up to $7900. I'm not a huge fan of cursor key control schemes either so I've edited the control scheme and changed it to QAOP for direction, M for missiles/rockets and symbol shift for bombs. Eject is still o...

Re: Reverse Engineering for Beginners
I'm not familiar with EmuZWin so can't offer any help there unfortunately but if you're simply wanting to assemble the source then download the pasmo assembler (I use version 0.6.0 but 0.5.4 will probably work fine too) and use the following command line to build :- pasmo --tzxbas aticatac.asm atica...

Just tried the new search functionality Mark. Brilliant! Thank you so much for implementing it.
I'm probably responsible for Sweevos World in the Hall of Fame, as I am for Chuckie Egg 2 also!
Thanks once again for your work on this.

Re: New Spectranet TNFS public server
Thanks for taking the time to put this TNFS server together. I'm thoroughly enjoying browsing the game list and picking a random game to play and the menu system makes this a breeze. If I could just make one suggestion that would make finding the game that you're looking for a lot faster - would you...

Re: A Yankee in Iraq, a 50 fps SHMUP
Easy mode has certainly made the game a bit more playable. I can now manage to survive past the first missile base without rage quitting and deleting the game! It's still a very hard game, even on easy, but I guess that's just because these days games are dumbed down so much that it's unusual to fin...

This is a fantastic little game! Really evokes memories of the Game & Watch games from the 80's. Thanks for taking the time to develop and share this game.

Re: The best Speccy game by A 'n' F Software: discussion
Nope. CE2 was amazing. Finding the milk, the sugar, the toy parts and making the giant egg. I mapped this back in the day and was able to complete it 3 times on the trot. We wondered (my father and i) if the map changed or got harder every time you beat it. I don't even remember what the outcome of...
