Re: ZXDB Support for Spectrum Next
As mentioned on FB there are no Next titles available to download from ZXDB, so at the moment such a feature would not be useful - unless you have an example if I have got this wrong. We are planning to have additional functionality in zxdb-dl that will allow us to add in custom software - a bit lik...

Re: NextSID - SID like sound with PT3 files
Heh fancy NEO SPECTRUMAN turning up here. That's cool and all but this is done without extra hardware, can be used in game and takes a regular PT3 file. We can make it go to 6 channels if we wanted to. And probably more importantly the source code will be available for anyone to implement in their p...

NextSID - SID like sound with PT3 files
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen. 9bitcolout and I would like to present NextSID release version 1.0! As you may remember from a month ago I proposed an idea to 9bitcolout who immediately jumped in and wrote a brilliant NextSID engine. Over the last month 9bitcolout has refined and perfected an eff...

We've been working on a similar effect as AtariSID for the Next, aka NextSID.

Re: test.bank loaded into the next at NextBuild?
Hi,
NextBuild is using Boriel basic compiler under the hood and has nothing to do with NextBasic.
I would recommend you use the lartest version that works with Visual Studio Code.
Thanks
em00k

Missing credits on Nixy the glade Sprite
https://www.spectrumcomputing.co.uk/ent ... ade_Sprite
I am missing off the credits for Nixy The Glade Sprite. (David Saphier)
I did the linking, loader, menu and music code - it wasn't done by a tool.
Thanks

NextBuild + Boriel ZX Basic +VSCode - For writing ZX Next software
Hi, I just wanted to drop a note here about NextBuild which is a suite of tools for writing ZX Next software. Nextbuild comes with a library for Boriel's ZX Basic compiler that allows you to interact with the Next's hardware. Everything is packaged together which makes installing a piece of cake. Bo...

Re: New File Browser for ZX-UNO
Hi Bob - looks great and works well on the Next in classic esxdos mode.
Only issue I see is that its called the same as an existing dotcommand on the Next, .BROWSE on the Next initiates the build in browser.
Cheers

Right now I'd be happy with just the board.... The board only option has been delivered a long time ago, over 300 of them went out - it was said at the time if you dont want to wait for full kits back the board only - I'm sorry you didnt take that option, I did try and wrangle you a board at the ti...

The failure to renew the Certificate for their main website is just another example of the apathy and lack of concern for this project. Is one negative way you could look at it, the other way is that the new cert had been renewed but incorrectly applied and the person who can remedy that has been o...

Kowalski I have been listening to the Atari compilation all night, it really is amazing to hear high quality PWM just like the Atari ST.
Please let me know how this is done, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for!
Thanks.

Thanks :) Although we know that Poke was the one who pioneered Atari tricks on Speccy, I have to stress that no single bit of his routines or any other tools or knowledge was used to make this demo. In fact, I don't even know how exactly he does this stuff but AFAIK our approach is quite different....
