Yeah, and if only @ZXDunny would update ZX Spin to modern features, I would use only one... :)

Re: ZEsarUX X

Do you plan to improve audio emulation for ZX Spectrum (48/128K etc.)?
Sound is bad quality and slow (audible delay for example when you collect something in Atic Atac) unfortunately...

Re: My new emulator - ZX Miracle

Mmmmh heavy crippled software to evaluate honestly. Fade out etc. are reasonable for a demo, but working external input devices and other features should be enabled just for testing and be sure the emu works fine with them... :?

Re: My new emulator - ZX Miracle

Mmmh, Kempston stick doesn't seem to work (XInput devices tested: gamepad XBox One BT, 8BitDo Arcade Stick)... And screen is a bit dark... and randomly gets darker leaving the emu in background (?). Default settings (and Direct3D). Demo limitations? Do you plan to add keyboard to joystick remapping?...

What about adding keyboard to joystick remapping too? For games requiring extra keys like Z, X, for jump, grenade remappable to button 2, button 3 of modern arcade sticks like 8BitDo...

Re: New release of SpecEmu

Is there a way to contact the developer of SpecEmu? Input has some bugs and would be great an extra buttons remap on modern arcade joystick (e.g. Z assigned to 3rd button etc.)

Hi Inky, how does it look with the implementation of this? https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=78048#p78048 https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=79893#p79893 Is it still planned or was it denied definitely? Re: spconv executable for MSDOS (Win10)?

What did you use to convert to SNA? Here is black screen on loading. Oh, indeed using a different 48K rom from https://mdfs.net/Software/Spectrum/ROMImages/ for example seems to fix black screen (TZX) when ATIC ATAC game starts... EDIT: to be exact it seems Atic Atac.z80 runs fine even in 128K emu, ...

Re: spconv executable for MSDOS (Win10)?

Information may be lost (and a couple of bytes of RAM modified) in the conversion from Z80 to SNA, which might explain why the SNA file doesn't work. Can you share a copy of the Z80 file that you're trying to convert? Even when I convert to TZX with https://www.oldcomp.cz/viewtopic.php?f=148&t=...

Yes a few like lnxspectrum do not support z80... Strange the converters also fail in many cases with z80 format

Re: spconv executable for MSDOS (Win10)?

Uhm, also FUSE spconv fails to convert some Z80: new SNA file doesn't work (black screen and crash). The Spconv for old MSDOS 16 bit does work fine (working converted SNA!), and also the AmigaOS version can convert snapshots fine... EDIT: I was wrong. Resulting SNA from 16 Spconv also fails... Could...

Re: spconv executable for MSDOS (Win10)?

Ah thanks!
Snapconv from Fuse indeed does work fine 👍🏻

I don't have a C compiler to build an exe, but this would also work: https://onecompiler.com/c/3ynkr4w2n
If someone can quickly build and share the exe would be great!

spconv executable for MSDOS (Win10)?

I was looking for spconv.exe to convert between different formats (Z80, SNA, TZX etc...), able to run under DOS prompt from Win10+... Or other similar tools. In particular to convert z80 to SNA or something else.

Re: MMC file browser (read/write)

@azesmbog
So I can just create a ISO file with some tool and rename it from .iso to .mmc and should work fine for ZX emulators?
EDIT: just tested and renaming "tbblue.mmc" to .iso and didn't work... Can't open it with tools for ISO files.

@PeterJ
Useful little tool! Thank you
