ZXSS Screensaver

Morning all, Not sure if this is of any use to anyone, but I wanted a screensaver that would display different images (from a folder) across my complete multi-monitor setup, so I quickly chucked one together. But I wasn't happy with normal images so I added the ability to display .scr files also, an...

Re: New WoS and ZXDB

@polomint I believe you are a friend of Richard and Lee. So maybe tell them that wiping traces and pretending that they don't use ZXDB is simply stupid as the evidence is overwhelming. Maybe they'll listen to you if they don't want to talk to Einar and other people. If they just admit it, this disc...

Re: New WoS and ZXDB

Mike Davies Yes we get that you know a lot about sh*te.. But guess what ( as you probably already know), different instances don't work the same way..... I run the same sh*te for over 100 thousand users across 15 countries, so I know that what you say is true, but not necessarily ...

Re: New WoS and ZXDB

That is something else that has nothing to do with the forums. You're obviously confused. This is the Spectrum Computing form. This section is ZXDB discussion, so this thread - about the use of ZXDB on WoS - is perfectly on topic. Confusion is relative, and so is manipulating the thoughts of others...

Re: New WoS and ZXDB

I agree with you @polomint that we don't want to 'feck' things up. The issue is that @Einar Saukas was slandered on a public forum, where else can he take his concerns. All that needs to happen is for WoS to apologise to Einar, acknowledge usage of ZXDB and use the latest version. . I'm sure all wi...

The point is, I was personally accused of "stealing" data from Martijn's WoS, only 4 days before he released new WoS using ZXDB in disguise, while pretending otherwise and trying to take credit for everyone else's work That is something else that has nothing to do with the forums. Sort it...

Jeez, just because he may have done something less good does not mean that the below is true; `But Fogarty has claimed that at his development experience running police websites and banks, and thus applies that experience to WoS -- at the kind of level he implies, you don't do this, ever.` We all wo...

Is there an archive of Speccy title screen music?

Hi, As above :) I've created a little screensaver for my own use that iterates through .scr and other image files, but I want to also play the music to the displayed screen (on multiple displays it would play the music from the scr on the main monitor). No, I don't see any use in doing this, but I j...

Re: Testing emulators using z80test-1.0. Quick results

Excellent @polomint . Do you need to run compile it with Visual Studio or similar? I can't see a pre-built binary. Yes, compile it with Visual Studio. The core is in C++ so can be used with whatever language can wrap that. I used the C++ core wrapped in a Win32 C++ Visual Studio project and then ad...
