I would have thought at the time, the Spectrum 48K Rubber Key was the most compatible Spectrum ever as it run everything available at the time. problem denial will eventually lead to the software written for the Next's unexpanded mode but not working on the real ZX i fear. And what relation all this peripherals stuff has to the CPU emulation accuracy? Also please read my recent answers. Nobody has denied there is a difference in the result...

Nobody said it ought to be the NEC Z80. Well, not me surely. Problem is, the Next fails to reproduce ANY real Z80 variant .
