Re: Spectrum Next dotn files

I think maybe there's some misunderstanding here. I don't have a .launcher dot command. Specasm uses the esxDOS .launcher program to allow its main binaries, specasm.tap and salink.tap, to be launched from the command line, as dot commands, e.g., .specasm. In the Next version of Specasm, which I'm ...

Hi. There´s already a .launcher DOT-Command for esxDOS as can be read here: https://board.esxdos.org/viewtopic.php?pid=233#p233
Maybe you could rename yours to e.g. .launch to separate them a little bit?

Re: Long Filename Browser for ZX-UNO / esxDOS

Maybe it's the cause of the problem, because I'm not using the whole 16Gb sd card, just a first 5 Gb FAT32 partition on it, for easier backup. The rest is unallocated space. Have you tried this: From the manual: Most SD cards work with the browser 'Device number' set to 1. This is the default setti...

Try to rename/delete you SpecEmu.INI and try. Maybe it´s one of the options that slows your SpecEmu down?

Re: Long Filename Browser for ZX-UNO / esxDOS

No need as I think I've fixed it in the current development version. There's no real advantage in running v0.25a1 at the moment but if you're desperate you can try using .brwscfg to turn the 'Auto detect device' option to 'On' in the Advanced menu and see if that fixes it. bob_fossil Thank you.
