Re: Playing Robotics on ZX UNO+
Totally agree! These videos are a great reference!!! :D Everything is bad and very bad :) There is a new, final, series of 7 tests. Z64K correctly shows only one test, the rest fail. The ES.pectrum emulator shows correctly the first 5 tests, the last 2 - fail. There is a video, but I would like bet...

Re: Border effects in assembler
Someone always knows, but writing and telling is usually too lazy.;) To begin with, we decide for which car we are going to build a border. There are three main candidates - the classics zx48, zx128 and Pentagon. Note that building a border for the Pentagon is more interesting, simpler and more beau...

Re: ZX-Uno General discussion
Vertical: 50-76 Hz The Pentagon has a frame rate of 48-49 Hz, not all monitors show even 50 Hz. So just try. There is even a special utility for checking monitors. Even monitors of the same model and lineup perform differently. I have several monitors Samsung SyncMaster 940N - so they work after on...

Not guessing! The winner is a well-unknown emulator written in JAVA (Or is it JavaScript?))

Re: Playing Robotics on ZX UNO+
Fine!!! Excellent video quality and the right angle !!! btw, I looked at the old snow test and tried to compare with the SpecEmu. It looks like pattern isn't 100% identical... This test demonstration was carried out just in order to clearly see and notice the difference between the real ZX48 and emu...

Re: Playing Robotics on ZX UNO+
the game is really incomprehensible and this problem is not worth a damn. With the Kempston joystick, everything is fine :) Connect the joy - and you will have joy :) Well, if we proceed from 100% compatibility - then yes, as a test of the stupidity of the programmers of this game - then it's ok :) ...

@azesmbog of course can turn off the hell of a Kempston joystick, but give it a "wrong" file that does not work correctly. For check.

Re: Divmmc Future and Next?
In principle, a pretty clear explanation. about TR-DOS - there are users who would like to run real floppies. (I'm not one of them :)) I was more interested in musical possibilities. For myself, I have added SAA1099 already. TSFM, of course, I can also try to add, but it is less interesting to me, i...

Re: New release of SpecEmu
Maybe that could help? Yes, it did help. I didn't know about such an option, and I can't imagine why it is needed, and why it was disabled by default. But - thanks :) This work of mine revealed a slightly different behavior from other emulators of some rarely used bits of the #FE port in the last t...

Re: New release of SpecEmu
Of the major changes - the TR-DOS regime in the Pentagon is seriously broken again. Somehow I didn’t launch my crafts before, but then I tried it and got upset. in specemu-3.1.b080220 - ok. in version specemu-3.1.b201120 - it's already bad :( in version specemu-3.1.b160821 - everything is just as ba...

I was checking the latest version of the emulator and came across a border picture that I drew last year. https://s.micp.ru/BlYU2.png Pentagon timings https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BkZcoFjVeD9L4KBaJIN0aEE4wmDpMQ1J/view?usp=sharing And this I "plagiarized" a little. I really liked the fo...

Now the labels are parsed correctly.
These operands are missing:
INC LX
DEC LX
INC HX
DEC HX
These are all halves of index registers.
It is necessary that the authors of the assembler write a descriptor for them))

It's more significant, better and more interesting. From wishes - I do not know how much better it will be, but I would like the left and right parts to be synchronized when dragging the "elevator" (?) Between them. Of the obvious bugs, there are no operands: LD HX, B LD HX, C LD HX, D LD ...

Re: Spectrum Next emulation for imbeciles
Did a clean install
1. Downloaded CSpect2_14_03
2. I downloaded cspect-next-2gb.zip and unpacked it into a folder with CSpect
3. Added a batch file from the previous version to the same folder.

I am also not fond of contended memory, I like the architecture of the Pentagon, but nevertheless it is sometimes useful for myself to figure out how it works, especially in relation to the screen and the border. There are still quite a few users of the classic zx48 \ 128 :) Well, when drawing on a ...

Re: ZXN TCount
I tried the utility. For me, this is a pretty useless utility :( Parses all instructions into one line, and shows the ticks. I'm more interested in if it would parse and count in one line, in which there are several instructions at once. An example on two lines: NOP: OUT (C), A: OUT (C), A: OUT (C),...
