Re: ZX Recoloring project

The author seemed to lose motivation for lack of feedback. I'm sure he could try to patch every particular issue. I see Obo supports a number of different games. In this case, I guess patches could be generalised to many games using the same programming techniques. If you really want to experiment w...

Does anyone recall if Anaglyphic Chuckie Egg worked well with glasses?https://web.archive.org/web/20141116201 ... c3dce.html

That PC game can be downloaded from here

Re: "Use your spectrum to explore the fantastic world of 3D television"

What about the other complementary colours? white/black, blue/yellow, green/magenta Would it be possible to use these three pairs with the same glasses? Using a lot of black might help with colour clash. EDIT As explained in this article, one can use different colours than just red, cyan which work w...

Re: The best Speccy game by Ultimate: discussion

Unfortunately I didn't play all these games back in the day. The one I played the most was Jetpac, loved the wasps and taking care of the flower on Pssst. Never got far in Underwurlde though always enjoyed its graphics and the bounce off challenge.

Re: Forgot the name of an underwater game

Looks fun! It is probably inspired in this arcade game which I thought of remaking in Basic.

Re: ZX Recoloring project

Was this thread, right? https://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/discussion/comment/353865/#Comment_353865 If this tool was really easy to use with immediate results, I think Spectrum users would have a lot of fun. Wouldn't you like to paint your favourite games? I remember that thread where people se...

Re: ZX Recoloring project

I see the author didn't get much enthusiam on WoS forums. He provided a modified emulator, an editor and a modified game to demonstrate his technology. I find interesting to apply new technologies upon the original games. Things like Obo's tools,VR, AR, sprites recolouring, filters, netplay.. who kn...

ZX Recoloring project

Hi. I've found this site called ZX recoloring project http://web-ext.u-aizu.ac.jp/~mozgovoy/z ... about.html
They state it's an easier way than the tool provided by Emuzwin to recolour games with 256 colours (spec256 format)

Re: New Database Model ZXDB

Apparently only a few magazines have tagged pages. For instance it doesn't seem to work for Crash issue #84... Footers on Crash 84 follow a different pattern: january (black square) numberpage If you know the ascii code of black square should work https://archive.org/details/crash-magazine-84/searc...

Re: New Database Model ZXDB

And a lot of the full-page advertisements don't have page numbers anyway. EDIT: Heh, so it actually works? That's interesting. It still seems hackish though as you'd need a specific query for every magazine layout. well you could provide users with both the expected and hackish links :) a script to...
